These specimens are primarily crystalline tetrahedrite. Most pieces have contact areas on the sides and base where they were broken from the matrix. Some pieces have excellent and complete tetrahedrons but many just have partial tetrahedrons. Very bright luster. Mundo Nuevo refers to an area with several mines. The camp and concentrating plant were blown up by "Shining Path" guerillas in the early 1990s and the Ramos brother began mining for specimens in the area in 2008.

CR 1391: Tetrahedrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 2.6 cm x 3.3 cm x1.6 cm, 32.7 grams. $9. Broken off tetrahedra
CR 1563: Quartz, Pasto Bueno, Peru: 8.2 cm x 4.0 cm x 3.7 cm, 107 grams. $35. A nice small cabinet combo with abundant sulfides. Contacted on the bottom and back. I considered sawing off the base of this and can do that if you would prefer it that way to make it stand better and get rid of a little of the excess quartz at the base.
CR 1392: Tetrahedrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 2.7 cm x 2.7 cm x 1.3 cm, 21.8 grams. $45. The single large tetrahedron does not have the 4th point but still displays very nicely. Excellent TN, one of the best pieces of the lot.
CR 1393: Tetrahedrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 3.1 cm x 2.1 cm x 1.4 cm, 10.6 grams. $12. Mostly crystalline surfaces with at least one contact area. Some sharp incomplete tetrahedra.
CR 1394: Tetrahedrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 3.1 cm x 2.2 cm x 1.1 cm, 11.0 grams. $10. Just barely makes it as a TN, nice sharp tetrahedron on the left is approx 9mm along the edge.
CR 1403: Tetrahedrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 4.0 cm x 3.0 cm x 1.5 cm, 37.2 grams. $15. A fairly typical small miniature. The tip of the main tetrahedron is damaged but overall a fairly nice piece.
CR 1401: Tetrahedrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 4.4 cm x 3.3 cm x 2.0 cm, 57 grams. $18. Nice miniature, minor damage to the tip of the main tetrahedron. This piece actually displays a little better from the opposite way the picture was taken.
CR 1402: Tetrahedrite with pyrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 3.3 cm x 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm, 45.3 grams. $20. A nice combo miniature.
CR 1411: Tetrahedrite, Mundo Nuevo, Peru: 6.2 cm x 5.2 cm x 4.5 cm, 295 grams. $95. A hefty small cabinet specimen that is primarily a large single crystal with minor damage. Displays well in a couple different orientations
